Few people recognize the golden opportunity in online MLM. But
that is exactly what it is, now that the code has been broken, and an
online MLM business is no longer "pie in the sky".
The problem has always been that marketers tried to use the same old tired offline "systems" on the internet. It was doomed from the very start. Heck, it didn't even work very well offline! (What does a 95% failure rate tell you?)
The fact is, the gold is out there! Every day, thousands of people are searching the internet for their "dream online business". And we mustn't forget the hordes of internet marketer wannabes already flitting around the internet aimlessly - with no direction and no focus. They may get in on your MLM business too!
"Did I hear you say the code has been broken?" - Absolutely!
Once a few brave souls changed the focus from trying to sell their opportunity to an admittedly skeptical audience, and began practicing the art of relationship building (one of the oldest tenets of marketing) the resistance began to crack.
And those few are laughing up their sleeves. They have found the gold and they have almost no competition. YET!
So, I see a huge influx of internet network marketers once the word is out. Most won't have the foggiest notion just how to go about it, or even get started. They have a dream, but they need someone to show them the way.
So, what it is going to take, now, is for the "mentors" to enter the picture. You don't have to figure it all out by yourself. There are lots of people who have the expertise, and are willing to teach newbies.
The devil, as they say, is in the details. How do you find your personal mentor? How do you know they are right for you? Is it going to be expensive? Can they get me to earning money faster?
Very difficult, partly because there is no standard by which you can judge an individual's "credentials" on the internet. That will change eventually, and I suspect anyone who "teaches" will some day be accredited.
But for now, what you see is what you get. One way of familiarizing yourself with a potential mentor, is to study the material he/she produces. What courses or classes demonstrate their expertise?
In summary, 3 words of advice:
(1) Forget everything you were taught about traditional offline MLM
(2) Become proficient in the skills of sound internet marketing (IM) techniques
(3) Find a mentor who can guide you through the maze of building your successful online MLM business.
